Wadha Al-Aqeedi is an art historian and the cofounder of Wusum Gallery, based between Paris and Doha. Her work is grounded in academic research, focusing on the histories, realities, and imaginaries of contemporary culture. Presently, she is a PhD candidate at the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. In 2020, she co-founded Mathqaf—a research-based platform that champions modern and contemporary art from West Asia and North Africa.
